The Noosa Coastguard and Mooloolaba Coastguard both offer scattering of ashes at Sea and can take a few family members with them, conducting a simple service onboard.  A plaque can be purchased for family, friends and future generations to visit, with the money going to a very worthy cause.  If you would like a memorial service PRIOR to the scattering for all family and friends to attend on the shore nearby, where you can watch the boat head out to sea, you can contact me to make arrangements for this service.

If you are looking for a more simple and less costly scattering at sea, I can make arrangements on your behalf. Photographs and video can be taken and the GPS coordinates provided as to where the scattering took place.

A memorial service can be held in your own garden, and the ashes scattered around favourite trees and plants. Or, taken to the beach where a service takes place on the shore, before family and friends participate in the shoreline scattering. I can assist with council permits, and recommendations for hire of chairs if required, for larger gatherings.

Sunshine Coast Council have several cemetery locations with garden areas for ashes to be interred. My preferred location is Kulangoor, between Nambour and Yandina.  Families can purchase a 'Family' magnolia tree, providing a beautiful location for family, friends and future generations to visit.  A Memorial Service can be held at the beautiful outdoor chapel at Kulangoor. I am happy to book the chapel and make the memorial service arrangements for you.
